I do admit they are cute. Fortunately, whilst we had a trail-walk encounter, Xena and I, yesterday morning, it was a skunk in a yard across the path, walking away. No encounter this morning. Really comical little friends, too - you had to be there to see the up close and personal encounter, with the skunk on the other side of the fence trying to face me down, baring its little teeth in its very little mouth, making no more noise than a sort of hissing sound. And running full out - most comical of all!
