Saint Laika's: Your Place for Weekday Worship

The design of the blog has changed, and so has the sidebar. It's on the right, and it includes blogs I recommend. This blogroll is still under construction, so if yours isn't here, I'm sure it will be soon.

Meanwhile, I commend to you for special attention Saint Laika's, an online church in all seriousness. Click on the link on the sidebar of this blog, or here, for prayers and worship, and a place of solace and refuge.

Thank you, Lois.

Now I'm trying to figure out how I "advertise" St. Laika's on my Facebook page and on Grace Church's Facebook page. I forgot to ask my webpage "guru" about that yesterday as he guided me through the new look for Ramblings. Fact: I am technologically timid without someone holding my hand!

I will pass your comment on to a facebook "guru," Lois.

hi Lois, you can "share" St Laika's on your profile by going to the St Laika's page and going to "share", which is down the bottom left-hand corner. When I look at the page though, I can also see an option called "Promote with an Ad", which is right under the pic of St Laika. Do you see that? ...

I don't have the "Promote with an ad", Cathy, but I do have the "share" so I'll try that route. Thanks!

Share has posted St. Laika's to my facebook page status. I realize I'm thinking of facebook the way I think of a blog. It's not. So I'm going to try to create an "ad" on my blog, to supplement St. Laika's place on my still-under-construction blogroll. Thanks, again, everyone.

I'm disappointed about not having the "Promote as an ad" thingy.

Jeff, if you're reading, I have time today or tomorrow if you want to risk your life again on the totally unsafe streets of Norwalk!

I think I've solved the "Promote with an Ad" mystery. On my church's facebook page I have that option, as well as "Edit" because I'm one of the approved posters or whatever you call a person who "owns" the page. C'est la vie.
