You won't believe this!

I just watched a squirrel - a gray squirrel - carry what turned out to be an entire slice of pizza across the church yard, try twice to clime an ornamental cherry only to fall to the ground both times, and then carry it across to the chain link fence of the rectory yard up which it easily scampered, pizza crust end still in mouth, and onto the lower branch of a tall pine tree next to the garage. It is now sitting on the branch, nibbling on the pizza, all the while maneuvering and repositioning it so the slice doesn't fall to the ground.

An entire slice of pizza - I can hardly believe it!
